Will Eno's new play The Realistic Joneses is set to begin previews on Thursday, March 13 with an official opening night on Sunday, April 6 at the Lyceum Theatre. Hailed by The New York Times as "tender, funny, terrific and featuring this spring's most enticing cast,"The Realistic Joneses is written by Pulitzer Prize finalistWill Eno and directed by Sam Gold (FUN HOME). On February 24th, BroadwayWorld.com continued its SOLD OUT 2014 concert series at Joe's Pub atThe Public Theater, hosting an emotional all-star tribute concert and benefit, celebrating the music of "bare" composerDamon Intrabartolo, at Joe's Pub in New York City, directed by his longtime collaborator, friend and Tony-nomineeKristin Hanggi with musical direction by Jesse Vargas. Alison Luff tweeted ""#sip with @nikkibohne #Hope4Katie"" during intermission at the national tour of Wicked. #SIP, or Saturday Intermission Pictures, is a trend that started with Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Max von Essen three years ago. #SIPs this week include backstage shots from The Bridges of Madison County, 50 Shades, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Ghost, and more!

On February 23, BroadwayWorld celebrated the Best in Cabaret for 2013 at Joe's Pub with performances from the likes of Jason Robert Brown, Terri White, Alice Ripley, Jane Monheit, Liz Callaway, and Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty. Rehearsals for Atlantic Theater Company's revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's musical THE THREEPENNY OPERA, directed and choreographed by visionary Martha Clarke, are now underway. The production features a celebrated cast of 14, including Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, Sophie Bortolussi, Jon David Casey, Timothy Doyle, Lilli Cooper, Rick Holmes, John Kelly, Lindsey Dietz Marchant, Sally Murphy, Tony Award® nominee Mary Beth Peil, Tony Award® nominee Laura Osnes, Emmy Award® winner Michael Park, Cristina Spina and John Watkins. Disney's Aladdin, based on the beloved animated film of the same name, began preview performances on February 26. Set to open March 20, the show has a cast of 35 and features Adam Jacobs (Les Miserables, The Lion King) in the title role, Courtney Reed (In the Heights, Mamma Mia) as Jasmine, James Monroe Iglehart (Memphis, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as Genie, and, as Jafar, Tony Award nominee Jonathan Freeman (Mary Poppins, The Producers, She Loves Me) brings to the stage the role he created in the animated film. BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Much Ado About Nothing, in which two love stories play out with an explosion of witty banter as soldiers returning from war set their sights on the peacetime pleasures of merrymaking and romance in a jaunty world of aristocratic artifice. However, when false information leads one proud nobleman to cruelly denounce his beloved on their wedding day, the verbal sparring sours into private warfare. Directed by Paul Mullins, Much Ado runs February 28-March 9 in the Nafe Katter Theater, Storrs. Click here for more photos of the cast at work!

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring Bryan Cranston, is currently in previews on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, March 6, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement and takes audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first year of Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill. Click here to see more photos!

Virginia's Signature Theatre presents the premiere musical Beaches, adapted from the 1985 novel by Iris Rainer Dart. Directed by Signature Theatre's Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Million Dollar Quartet), this heartfelt chronicle of a decades-long friendship between two unforgettable women starsMara Davi (Broadway's A Chorus Line and The Drowsy Chaperone) as Bertie White and Alysha Umphress(Broadway's American Idiot and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever) as Cee Cee Bloom.
