Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. opens its 28th Season with the powerful 90-minute, award-winning stage adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky''s classic novel CRIME AND PUNISHMENT by Marilyn Campbell and Curt Columbus, directed by Artistic Director Richard Cotovsky, playing through March 16, 2014 at Angel Island, 731 W. CRIME AND PUNISHMENT features Jack McCabe, Ed Porter and Maureen Yasko.

Adapted from the epic novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, CRIME AND PUNISHMENT focuses on the plight of a intellectual young man whose moral struggle with his belief system compels him to commit a horrendous crime. A psychological game of cat and mouse ensues with the investigator who hunts him down. Dreams, waking visions, even ghosts paint this psychological portrait of crime, guilt and retribution. Writers'' Theater''s original 2003 production of CRIME AND PUNISHMENT was honored with a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Adaptation.
