The Theatre Project's resident company, TP&co, presents Much Ado About Nothing at The Players Theatre, opening tonight, February 14, 2014.

One of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, Much Ado About Nothing spins a dizzying web of romantic and marital intrigue that forms a background for crackling verbal wit. Seduction, trickery and power leave you on the edge of your seat in this timeless battle of the sexes. Returning triumphant from congressional hearings, Don Pedro and his band of politicians stop at a wealthy lobbyists's estate to unwind for a weekend of partying. Filled with masquerade balls and mistaken identities, Much Ado About Nothing is Shakespeare's clever romantic comedy that shows how love brings out both the best and worst in us. After TP&co's sold out Off-Broadway run of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the "Exciting and Innovative" company returns with a bold new production of The Bard's classic rom-com.

Much Ado About Nothing runs at The Players Theatre for a limited run. Tickets are available at wwww.thethetareproject.org, at the door an hour prior to performance, or by calling 212-475-1449.
