Manila, Philippines, February 3, 2014--Celebrity socialite and occasional theater actress Tessa Rufino-Prieto Valdes, alongside WICKED Australasian tour stars Jemma Rix (Elphaba), Suzie Mathers (Glinda), Steve Danielsen (Fiyero), and Jay Laga'aia (The Wizard), hosted a live benefit auction at the end of WICKED'S matinee performance on Friday, January 31, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines' (CCP) main theatre.

An afternoon tea with some of the cast members; a makeup kit from MAC Cosmetics, the show's makeup sponsor; and two backstage tour passes raised PhP75K ($1,655), PhP35K ($772), PhP95K ($2,100), respectively, for the victims of recent typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) that slammed central Philippines.

Other members of the cast also passed around several "Ozdust" buckets to ask for donations. A related post on Instagram, a photo and video-sharing platform, claimed that one of those buckets had collected around PhP50K ($1,103).
