Photo Coverage: Opening Night of BECKY'S NEW CAR at the Westchester Playhouse

Kentwood Players presents "Becky's New Car" by Steven Dietz from January 10 to February 15, 2014 for a six-week run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with Sunday matinees at 2pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue, Westchester, CA 90045. The production is directed by Susan Stangl and produced by Larry Jones by special arrangement with Dramatist's Play Service, Inc.

Lots of laughter was in the air on opening night, Friday, January 10, and each show promises to be hysterically different as there is a lot of audience interaction in every performance. "Becky's New Car" is a thoroughly original and contemporary comedy about love, loss, choices and what makes life worth living, a devious and delightful romp down the road not taken. Have you ever been tempted to flee your own life? Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management and in a middling marriage-with no prospects for change on the horizon. Then one night a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works. Becky is offered nothing short of a new life...and the audience is offered a chance to ride shotgun in a way that most plays wouldn't dare.

Featured in the cast are Jaymie Bellous, Jacque Borowski, Dylan Brody, Craig Bruenell, Bob Grochau, Cherry Norris, and Maria Pavone.

Tickets are $18.00 with a $2.00 discount for seniors, students, servicemen, and Metro riders who present their same day ticket or monthly pass when purchasing full price tickets at the box office. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 18.
