After Arthur Darvill's exit on December 14th, Paul Alexander Nolan joined the ONCE cast as GUY, opposite Joanna Christie. Nolan was last seen on Broadway in the 2012 revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, as Jesus. ONCE is the story of two people who fall in love over music, making for a beautiful story. The cast of Bridges of Madison County met the press this week for the first time, and BroadwayWorld was there for it all! Bridges of Madison County will begin previews in less than a month, on January 17th, before opening on February 20th. Set in 1965, with her family away, Francesca Johnson (O'Hara) looks forward to a rare four days alone on her Iowa farm. But when ruggedly handsome National Geographic photographer (Pasquale) pulls into her driveway seeking directions, those four days may very well alter the course of Francesca's life. Kinky Boots stars Billy Porter, Stark Sands and Annaleigh Ashford and more joined the show's Tony Award-winning composer Cyndi Lauper for a special one-night-only True Colors Cabaret at Birdland. The cast of performed an array of standards, pop hits and other songs, all to benefit Lauper's True Colors Fund, which raises awareness to homeless LGBTQ* youth. Cast members from Newsies appeared with Neil Patrick Harris in the filming of the original opening number for the 2013 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The original song, "Are You Ready For Christmas?," is staged by Newsies' Tony Award winning choreographer, Christopher Gattelli and written by David Javerbaum and Adam Schlesinger. The parade airs on ABC, beginning at 10:00am EST/ 9:00am C/P, on Christmas morning, Wednesday, December 25, 2013. To look at more photos from the filming of the song, click here.

This week, Frank Wildhorn presented a concert the "2nd Annual Frank and Friends" concert. The concert included Jeremy Jordan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Laura Osnes, Christiane Noll, Michael Lanning, Teal Wicks and award-winning jazz vocalist Jane Monheit, all singing some of their favorite Wildhorn popular, jazz, classical, and theatrical tunes. All profits went to The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment. For more pictures from the concert, click here.

Patina Miller, along with Sutton Foster and Anna Kendrick, appeared in concert at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC, paying tribute to the honorees of the night. The cast of BIG FISH came together at Sardi's to watch Kate Baldwin be honored with a caricature of her for the wall of Sardi's, a longstemmed Broadway tradition. The portrait will be hung on a wall full of Broadway royalty, with Baldwin as the newest add. To see more from the unveiling of the portrait, click here.

STEPHEN WARD, with music written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and book and lyrics by Christopher Hampton and Jon Black, opened last night at the Aldwych Theatre in London. The musical centers on Ward's affair with the young and beautiful Christine Keeler and their meeting in a West End night club, which would lead to one of the biggest political scandalsof the 20th century.
