THE PREACHER AND THE SHRINK, the new Off-Broadway play by Merle Good, hosted a special reception last night (Monday) in the Cathedral House at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan. Merle Good and the play's stars, Tom Galantich and Adria Vitlar, led a discussion focusing on the provocative issues explored in this powerful new play. BroadwayWorld has photos from the event below!

Under the direction of Steven Yuhasz, THE PREACHER AND THE SHRINK features Tom Galantich (Mamma Mia!, City of Angels, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Boeing-Boeing), Dee Hoty (City of Angels, Mamma Mia!, The Will Rogers Follies, Footloose), Adria Vitlar (The Columnist, Blood and Gifts), Mat Hostetler (War Horse, "Boardwalk Empire," "White Collar"), and Nicholas Urda (Love's Labour's Lost).

In THE PREACHER AND THE SHRINK, a spirited young woman makes a sexual accusation which checkmates her father, a respected and popular pastor. They have been estranged for years by a deep grief. THEPREACHER AND THE SHRINK unwraps these struggles with startling consequences.
