The Broadway Association, the 102-year-old not-for-profit business association that's committed to the betterment, safety and economic prosperity of the Times Square and Midtown West community, hosted its annual awards luncheon Monday afternoon at the InterContinental Times Square Hotel. The Broadway Association presented legendary Broadway Producer Daryl Roth with the Visionary Leader Award and New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Fox 5 Good Day New York's Greg Kelly (son of Police Commissioner Kelly) and RosAnna Scotto served as Masters of Ceremonies. Scroll down for photos of the honorees!

"Daryl Roth and Police Commissioner Kelly represent the life and vibrant energy of Times Square and Broadway," said Broadway Association Chairman Cristyne L. Nicholas. "Our city has never been safer, crime has never been lower and visitors and locals alike continue to flock to Daryl's shows in droves. We're lucky to have two such outstanding individuals working day in and day out to ensure we have a thriving and growing district."

Daryl Roth is an award winning producer who has had the unique distinction of producing seven Pulitzer Prize-winning plays. Current projects include the Broadway Revival of "Annie" and a new musical, "It Shoulda Been You," directed by David Hyde Pierce. Even with her busy Broadway schedule, Ms. Roth dedicates time to nurturing and supporting theatre artists. She's also an Honorary Trustee of Lincoln Center Theatre and recently served on the New York State Council on the Arts.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is New York City's longest serving police commissioner and a 43-year veteran of the department. During his almost 15 years as police commissioner under Mayor David Dinkins (a long-time Broadway Association member) and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Commissioner Kelly created the first counterterrorism bureau of any municipal police department in the country and has heavily invested his department's resources to ensure the Big Apple remains one the safest big cities in the world.

The annual luncheon also serves as a platform for the Broadway Association to promote and support an important cause within the local community. Rosie's Theater Kids, a program that provides quality instruction in music and dance and exposes young school children to theater and the arts, were presented with a generous donation. A small group of children from Rosie's Theater Kids also performed a selection of hit Broadway songs.

Other programs, initiatives and charities the Broadway Association has supported in previous years include the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City (Hurricane Relief), the New York City Police Foundation, Back on my Feet, the Actor's Fund, Encore Community Services, the 9/11 Memorial and Broadway Care/Equity Fights Aids.
