Manhattan Concert Productions will present a special concert performance of Ragtime at Avery Fisher Hall on Monday, February 18, 2013. The cast will include: Michael Arden as Younger Brother, Phillip Boykin as Booker T. Washington, Kerry Butler as Evelyn Nesbit, Matt Cavenaugh as Henry Ford, Tyne Daly as Emma Goldman and more. Viva Broadway, an initiative of the Broadway League, in collaboration with 5000 Broadway Productions and the United Palace of Cultural Arts presented In The Heights: In Concert, a special, one-night only benefit concert at the United Palace of Cultural Arts in Washington Heights on February 11. The Drama League honored five-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald at The Drama League's 29th Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway on February 11, 2013 at the famed Pierre Hotel (2 East 61st Street). Broadway, TV and Film stars Taye Diggs and Phylicia Rashad hosted the annual black-tie gala, featuring dozens of stars from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only evening of musical selections drawn from Ms. McDonald's career. Direct from acclaimed, sold-out engagements at The National Theatre of Scotland and the Lincoln Center Festival, Tony and Olivier Award winner ("Cabaret") and two-time Emmy nominee ("The Good Wife") Alan Cumming will return to Broadway this spring in a one-man interpretation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Cumming just helped install the marquee at the Barrymore Theatre and you can check out more photos here!

The world premiere of Tony Award winning playwright Richard Greenberg's new play, Breakfast at Tiffany's, just held a casting call to find the perfect cat to take on the iconic role of "Cat." Felines with Broadway dreams were encouraged to submit a photo and were invited to a casting session yesterday. Check out more photos of the contenders here!

Forever Dusty, the hit new musical about the life and times of legendary British pop star Dusty Springfield, celebrated its 100th performance with a one-night-only Sing-A-Long performance on February 13. Audience members at this special performance were invited to participate and sing along to Dusty's greatest hits, including "Son of a Preacher Man," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "I Only Want to Be With You," along with other classics included in the show, like "Wishin' and Hopin," "Tell Him," and many more. The celebrated musical RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella --originally written for television in 1957 by the legendary musical theatre duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II -- makes its Broadway debut with this new production: music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a new book by four-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane. Opening Night is Sunday, March 3, 2013. Check out more production shots here!

Barry Manilow is back on Broadway for the first time in more than two decades, hosting a limited run at the St. James Theatre. Just yesterday, the beloved Broadway tradition continued as Sardi's added a caricature of Manilow to the Wall of Fame. Check out full coverage from the festivities here!

NBC and Columbia Records just released the soundtrack for Bombshell, the musical within NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series television hit "SMASH" (Tuesdays, 10-11pm ET), on February 12. In celebration of the release, Tony and Grammy-award winning music creators Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and show star Megan Hilty participated in a meet-and-greet album signing at the NBC Experience Store in Rockefeller Plaza earlier this week. Dutch star musical theatre star Willemijn Verkaik joined the cast of Broadway's Wicked earlier this week as 'Elphaba' at the Gershwin Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there for her first curtain call and you can check out full photo coverage below! Willemijn Verkaik was born in The Netherlands. She studied both performance and teaching of vocal technique at the Rotterdam Conservatory. Willemijn's professional singing career began as a lead vocalist for many pop bands.
