The cast and creative team of The Phantom of the Opera- 25 Years on Broadway Gala Performance at the Majestic Theatre in New York City took a triumphant curtain call on January 26, 2013. Much of the Phantom family reunited for the special event, and the current cast was also be a big part of the festivities. Click here full full coverage from the special event.

Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque, the kick-off to a season of sexy striptease events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, featured two sizzling performances last weekend at XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street). Click here for more photos of the cast in action!

The Manhattan Theatre Club just presented its annual Winter Benefit, an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring Broadway's brightest stars at The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Fredrick P. Rose Hall (Broadway & 60th Street). BroadwayWorld was there for the big event and you can check out photo coverage here!

After a brief delay due to illness, Manilow on Broadway, Barry Manilow's new concert show at the St. James Theatre, opened earlier this week, January 29. With worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, his success is a benchmark in popular music. Rolling Stone crowned him "a giant among entertainers... the showman of our generation," and Frank Sinatra summed up Manilow best when Ol' Blue Eyes told the British press, "He's next." In its record-breaking fourth year on Broadway, Rock of Ages has celebrated its one-millionth customer, its 1500th performance and seven Box Office Records. This coming March, the smash hit will take a place on the Top 50 Longest Running Broadway Shows List. Check out photos of the new cast in action here, which includes Kate Rockwell as "Sherrie", Joey Calveri as "Stacee Jaxx" and Teresa Stanley as "Justice."

Tony Winner, Disney Legend Lea Salonga ("Miss Saigon," "Les Miserables") opened this year's Lincoln Center presents "American Songbook" concert series, a 15-year-old annual tribute to great American songwriters, past and present, to sold-out crowd at The Allen Room, Jazz at Lincoln Center on Wednesday night. Mark Evans and Christopher John O'Neill just joined the cast of the national tour of The Book of Mormon as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham respectively. Bock and Harnick's Fiorello!, the opening musical of the Encores! 20th Anniversary season stars Kate Baldwin, Erin Dilly, Jenn Gambatese, Shuler Hensley and Emily Skinner, with Danny Rutigliano as Fiorello LaGuardia. Fiorello! will be directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Alex Sanchez and music direction by Rob Berman.
