Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 70th AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards on January 13, 2013, live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Among the big winners of the night was the blockbuster musical LES MISERABLES, earning a Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture award for Anne Hathaway, Best Actor - Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical award for Hugh Jackman and top prize for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical. William Inge's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Picnic returns to Broadway in a striking new production helmed by acclaimed director Sam Gold (Roundabout's Look Back in Anger, Seminar). Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn stars alongside theatre veterans Reed Birney (The Dream of the Burning Boy) and Elizabeth Marvel (Other Desert Cities), rising stars Maggie Grace ("Lost") and Sebastian Stan ("Gossip Girl"), Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham (recently seen in Tribes), Madeleine Martin (August: Osage County) and Ben Rappaport (Hope Springs). Tickets are now available for Roundabout Theatre Company's new production of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley's Folly, directed by Michael Wilson, feature Danny Burstein as "Matt Friedman" and Sarah Paulson as "Sally Talley." Performances begin on February 8, 2013 and opening night is March 5, 2013 at the Laura PelsTheatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). NBC has released new photos of the highly anticipated second season of SMASH including shots from the premiere episode, 'On Broadway', and episode 2, 'The Fallout'. TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, presents the regional premiere of SOMEWHERE, a captivating new play told in exuberant dance as well as drama by playwright Matthew Lopez (The Whipping Man), and featuring Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez (Broadway's A Chorus Line). This compelling tale of a 1960s Puerto Rican family dreaming and dancing its way toward show business will be helmed by director Giovanna Sardelli. For more production shots, click here.

The longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera, directed by Harold Prince and produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Company, Inc., will welcome Broadway and West End star Sierra Boggess to the New York cast this month for a limited engagement as leading lady Christine Daaé. Ms. Boggess, whose long history with the musical began when she originated the role in the revised Las Vegas production in 2006, has been specifically chosen by the creative team to join the cast in time for the production becoming the first Broadway show ever to celebrate 25 Years. Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, starring Scarlett Johansson as Maggie, Ciarán Hinds as Big Daddy, Benjamin Walker as Brick and Debra Monk as Big Mama, directed by Rob Ashford, opened last night January 17, and BroadwayWorld was there to capture all of the excitement and glamour of the evening.
