The hilariously charming hit musical Forever Plaid will take you on a trip to the fifties with Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie, a fictional 1950's boy band. The group was tragically, and inconveniently struck down before their first big gig. "The Plaids" will be brought back to earth to take the stage one last time. Forever Plaid will run now through February 6th. Get a first look at the cast onstage in the photos below!

This critically acclaimed musical celebrates the precision harmonies and well choreographed moves that were the epitome of 1950's traditional values, home and harmony. Forever Plaid showcases the upbeat music made popular in the 1950s by artists and groups such as Perry Como, Eddie Fisher, The Four Lads and The Ames Brothers. It also includes such hits as "Catch A Falling Star," "Sixteen Tons," "Crazy 'Bout Ya Baby" and "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing." This hilarious production is fun for the entire family.

When first presented at the Hale Theatre in 2007, this internationally acclaimed show was a sell-out, turning away eager audiences nightly. In 2010, Forever Plaid made its return to the Hale stage with roaring applause. The smooth music of "The Plaids" will be making its second encore to Gilbert with all-new staging but bringing along the same energy that delighted audiences the first round.

Directing and choreographing the show is Cambrian james. Cambrian brings with him numerous AriZoni awards for his impeccable directorial skills and diverse choreography. Cambrian was last seen in Hale Theatre's production of Annie where he not only directed and choreographed, but starred as Daddy Warbucks. Cambrian's recent awards include three AriZoni's for best director, best choreographer, and best overall production for Hale Theatre's production of Crazy For You in May of 2012..

Award winning actor, Jere VanPatten, who played Jinx in Hale's 2007 Forever Plaid will be making a return. Jere has appeared in over 50 shows around the valley and is represented by the Leighton Agency.

The multi-talented cast of Forever Plaid will also feature Hale veterans Michael Sackett as Frankie, Tedd Glazebrook as Sparky and Brent Graham as Smudge.

The show runs January 8th to February 6th 2013. Show dates are Monday and Tuesday at 7:00PM and 2:00PM on Wednesday's. Prices are $10 for children(ages 6-18), $24 for adults.
