Today, we're featuring Maureen McGovern and Rex Smith in the curtain call for the 1981 Broadway production of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE!

McGovern is known for her Drama Desk-nominated performance in Little Women, 3 Penny Opera, Nine and The Pirates of Penzance as well as off-Broadway's Brownstone. Her recording of "The Morning After" from The Poseidon Adventure hit number one on the Billboard charts and won an Oscar. Smith first appeared on Broadway in the lead role of Danny Zuko in the original production of GREASE and later tackled the role of Frederic in the Joseph Papp version of PIRATES OF PENZANCE. He also appeared opposite Kevin Kline and Linda Rondstadt in the Universal Pictures film version of "Pirates."
