Aaron Carter celebrated his 25th Birthday last night, Dec. 7, with fans and the cast of The Fantasticks. Carter stars as the boy Matt in The Fantasticks, the world's longest running musical. After The Fantasticks, Carter graced the audience with a couple of songs on the piano. The cast and fans then sang "Happy Birthday" as Carter blew out candles on his cake and fans swarmed the star with gifts and warm wishes for his 25th birthday. Carter shares his birthday with his twin sister Angel Carter who was celebrating on the West Coast.
 
Aaron Carter (Matt) previously starred on Broadway as JoJo in Seussical but is most well known as a Gold and Platinum selling International Recording Artist. Beginning his recording career at the young age of nine, Aaron already has five albums and one EP in his discography. He has won multiple awards over his 14 year career thus far including TEEN Choice Awards, Kids Choice Awards, and RTL Young Artist of the Year Award. In addition to music he has also established himself as an actor in film and television with roles in Lizzie McGuire, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, 7th Heaven, Family Affair, Fat Albert and Ella Enchanted amongst others. Recently Aaron starred on ABC's Dancing With The Stars Season 9, where he and dance partner Karina Smirnoff became an early fan favorite finishing 5th. Currently Aaron is entertaining various film & television offers all while also working on his new music project.
 
A modern twist on Romeo and Juliet, The Fantasticks (music by Harvey Schmidt, book, lyrics, and direction by Tom Jones) is the quintessential story of a boy and girl who fall in love and then quickly grow apart when they realize they want to experience the world. What follows is a hilarious and heartwarming story appropriate for all ages. The score, which includes the hit songs "Try To Remember", "Soon It's Gonna Rain" and "They Were You", is as timeless as the story itself.
