ELF returns to Broadway this holiday season at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). Performances began on Friday, November 9, 2012. The production plays a limited engagement of 9 weeks for the holiday season through Sunday, January 6, 2013. BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the cast in action here!

CHAPLIN is a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan and Christopher Curtis, opened on Broadway on Monday, September 10, 2012. Earlier this week, star of the show Rob McClure was honored with his own portrait at Sardi's and you can check out more photos of the unveiling here!

A Christmas Story, The Musical arrives on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre just in time for the 2012 holiday season. Based on the 1983 movie perennial, the musical plays and eight-week limited engagement through December 30. Opening night is Monday, November 19. Click here for more production shots!

The cast of Newsies, the Tony® Award winning new American musical, led by Corey Cott as Jack Kelly, performed the show-stopping number "Seize the Day" in-studio on the Tuesday, November 13 episode of "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" on the ABC Television Network. Amber Riley and Company

Amber Riley ("Glee"), Joshua Henry, Jared Grimes and Adriane Lenox star in New York City Center's acclaimed production of Duke Ellington's Cotton Club Parade, returning to City Center for seven performances November 14th through the 18th, 2012. Conceived by Jack Viertel and presented under the auspices of City Center's Tony Award–winning Encores! series, Cotton Club Parade is once again be directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, with music direction by Jazz at Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood opened on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 at Studio 54 on Broadway. The Mystery of Edwin Drood stars Stephanie J. Block, Will Chase, Gregg Edelman, Jim Norton, and Chita Rivera with Andy Karl, Jessie Mueller, Betsy Wolfe, Nicholas Barasch, Peter Benson, and Robert Creighton. DEAD ACCOUNTS, the new comedy by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien stars two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz and Katie Holmes. Dead Accounts also stars Judy Greer, Josh Hamilton, and two-time Tony Award nominee Jayne Houdyshell. The limited engagement of Dead Accounts is currently in previews and will open Thursday, November 29 at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Check out more photos here!

Produced by Robyn Goodman, Scott M. Delman and Amanda Lipitz, THE PERFORMERS, David West Read's new romantic comedy, opened on Broadway on Wednesday, November 14th - at the Longacre Theatre. THE PERFORMERS stars Cheyenne Jackson, Ari Graynor, Daniel Breaker and Jenni Barber, and also stars Alicia Silverstone and Henry Winkler. The Performers is directed by Evan Cabnet. On this week's episode of GLEE, titled, 'Glease,' Rachel and Kurt payed a visit to Lima as the glee club launched its production of "Grease." The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers this week announced the casting of the title role in the RSC's eagerly anticipated Broadway-bound musical Matilda the Musical. Each of the four girls will play the role at difference performances: Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon and Milly Shapiro. Each girl will be making her Broadway debut. Featuring book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman, Scandalous began performances at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre on October 13, 2012 and opened last night, Thursday, November 15. Click here for full coverage from the opening!

The Public Theater presents the New York premiere production of Giant, an epic love story with book by Sybille Pearson and music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. The show opened last night, November 15th and directed by Michael Greif, Giant runs through Sunday, December 2. Click here for full coverage of the big opening!
