The Private Theatre (John Gould Rubin, Artistic Director; Lucy DiRosa, Executive Director) and Barbara Ligeti present the world premiere of a new solo show, Turning Page, written and performed by Angelica Page (Gore Vidal's The Best Man) with direction by Tony Award® nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore). Performances began Thursday, October 11, 2012 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 28, 2012 at The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street).

Angela Lansbury, Elizabeth Ashley, and Karen Allen visited the production last night, and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the gathering below!

Geraldine Page's sparkling career earned her a record-breaking eight Academy Award-nominations and made her one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, but her personal life was marked by loss and tragedy. Turning Page is the triumphant and heartbreaking true story of one of the most celebrated actresses of all time, written and performed by the person who knew her best: her own daughter. This funny, moving, and deeply compassionate play is a tribute to an icon we lost too soon as well as a richly woven expression from a daughter coming to terms with her own complicated legacy.

Turning Page will play the following performance schedule: Mondays at 7:00 p.m., Thursdays & Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. & 8:00p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Please note: there will be an added performance on Wednesday evening, October 24th at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $30 and are available online on the Cherry Lane Theatre website at www.cherrylanetheatre.org/tickets/ or by calling (212) 352-3101. Beginning September 17th, tickets will be available for purchase at the Cherry Lane Theatre Box Office (38 Commerce Street). The Cherry Lane Theatre is located at 38 Commerce Street, off 7th Avenue, one block south of Bleecker Street.
