Just in time for the 2012 election, David Mamet's "November" comes to the Taper. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production below.
It's a few days before a presidential election and incumbent Charles Smith is in for a rough month -- his campaign funds are running out, his poll numbers are "lower than Gandhi's cholesterol" and the sofa needs to be reupholstered … all in all, it looks like the Thanksgiving turkey will have a better holiday season. But although his speechwriter seems to have defected, his chief of staff has all but given up and his wife is planning for her post-White House life, Charles isn't ready to throw in the towel quite yet.
Opening night is set for October 7. The show continues through November 4, 2012.
