Manila, Philippines, September 25, 2012 - Kids Acts Philippines, a 10-year-old professional theater company that stages original and adapted plays written for children, premieres "Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure in Neverland" at Star Theater, Star City, CCP Complex, Pasay City this Friday, September 28.
Adapted from the classic children's book by James Matthew Barrie, "Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure in Neverland" features book, lyrics, and direction by Luigi Nacario, and music by Eugene Belbis.
Presented with choreographed aerial and flying effects, and colorful costumes, this musical production integrates Dr. Howard Gardner's child-centered learning theory called "Eight Multiple Intelligences," which includes verbal/linguistic, math/logical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist learning approaches.
