Today, we're featuring Eileen Brennan circa 1981. Brennan originated the role of Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! on Broadway in 1964. Prior to that, she starred in The Student Gypsy off-Broadway, where she also appeared in the show's prequel, Little Mary SunshinE. Brennan is well known for her portrayal of Doreen Lewis in Private Benjamin, for which she received an Oscar nomination. Her first feature film was Divorce American Style. The actress has also played roles in The Sting, The Last Picture Show, Daisy Miller, The Cheap Detective, Clue, Murder By Death and many more.
