The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel welcomes back legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins for her sixth engagement at the iconic venue, Café Carlyle. Ms. Collins' three week engagement runs through September 29 where she is joined by her musical director Russell Walden. Stephen Holden of the New York Times hails Ms. Collins performance as evoking “the kind of ethereal, far-sighted reflection that is her special artistic territory". Ms. Collins unique blend of interpretative folksongs and contemporary themes have captivated audiences for over fifty years and landed her a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Ms. Collins’ rendezvous at the Café Carlyle will feature beloved hits from her recent album Bohemian including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’s “Pure Imagination”, Woody Guthrie’s “Pastures of Plenty”, Jimmy Webb’s “Campo De Encino” and Ms. Collins’ own “In The Twilight” which she wrote about her mother.

The Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle – 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue. Judy Collins will play Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45PM. There is a $110 music charge ($75 at bar) for the Tuesday-Thursday performances and a $135 music charge ($85, bar) on Friday and Saturday evenings. Every Monday night at 8:45PM (September 10 through December 17), Woody Allen appears with thE Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band. There is a $135 music charge ($95, bar).
