Manila, Philippines, July 25, 2012 – Blue Repertory (“Bare,” “Little Shop of Horrors”) opens its 21st theater season with Jason Robert Brown’s (“Parade,” “The Last 5 Years”) youth-oriented rock musical, “13,” tonight at the Fine Arts Theatre, Ateneo de Manila University; the show runs until Saturday, August 11.
“13” stars Ateneans RJ Santillan, Bernice Reyes, David Mercado, Roxci de Leon, Raya Esteban, Darrell Uy, Wrench Canicosa, Nikki Surtida, Arjo Mejilla, Maronne Cruz, and Abegail Esteban.
Blue Repertory alumnus Christopher de Venecia (“Little Shop of Horrors”) directs the production, which also features Reb Atadero’s (“Bare,” “Rizal X”) musical direction and Mica Fajardo’s (“Bare”) choreography.
