Recording artist and Broadway veteran Tony Vincent performed songs from his new EP, In My Head, at his debut New York solo performance at Rockwood Music Hall last night, July 23. Some of his past AMERICAN IDIOT castmates came to cheer him on, and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the reunion below!

Vincent is best known for his appearance on the second season of NBC’s reality singing competition, The Voice, and is the first person from last season to release a commercial EP after the show. Tony Vincent calls New York City home, but grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where from a young age he was exposed to the music of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. In his early teens Vincent began writing songs heavily influenced by Depeche Mode, New Order and Tears for Fears.

While on The Voice, Tony was selected to be on team Cee Lo and blew away the competition with his incredible voice and stage presence winning his first battle round. Tony made a lasting impression for fans nationwide with his last performance on the show of The Eurythmics, “Sweet Dreams.”

Tony Vincent released his debut single “Starting Over” as a free download for fans in May. The single is currently available for a free download on Tony’s Reverbnation page: http:// www.reverbnation.com/tonyvincentofficial. “Starting Over” showcases a different side to Tony as an artist and marks a new stage in his career on The Voice. His Broadway credits include JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, RENT, AND AMERICAN IDIOT. For more information on Tony Vincent, please visit: http://www.tonyvincent.com/
