With a three-story glass atrium, oversized windows, eco-friendly features and an exterior sky deck set 65 feet above the water, Hornblower New York's Hornblower Infinity made its official debut Tuesday morning as the state-of-the-art yacht was christened by Diana Taylor, chairwoman of the Hudson River Park Trust, at the yacht's new home alongside Pier 40.

Beginning in July, Hornblower New York will accommodate regular public cruises and private event charters that will provide spectacular panoramic views of New York City's iconic sites. The amount of docking space Pier 40 provides made it the ideal home base for the newest member of the Hornblower family.

"We welcome Hornblower Infinity to New York and we're glad she will be calling Pier 40 home," said Diana Taylor, Chairwoman of the Hudson River Park Trust. "Every year, Hudson River Park becomes more and more popular with New Yorkers and visitors. Infinity's presence here will enhance the park's appeal as an exciting New York attraction."

Flexible design and smartly planned spaces throughout Hornblower Infinity mean groups of all sizes can host spectacular private gatherings such as weddings, meetings and corporate receptions, while other guests can enjoy dining and cocktail cruises in other sections of the yacht.

"We are proud to introduce Hornblower Infinity, and we look forward to providing New York residents and guests a host of new entertainment options," says Terry MacRae, CEO and founder of San Francisco-based Hornblower Cruises & Events, the parent company of Hornblower New York. "Our talented in-house engineers have created a contemporary yacht that revolutionizes the dining cruise industry with its innovative design and flexibility."

Buffet-style capacity accommodates up to 1,000 guests, with each of the three main levels featuring roomy, dining-friendly configurations on the forward deck and smaller, semi-private spaces on the aft. Wrap-around exterior spaces hold up to 500 people, with comfortable lounge furniture and other state-of-the-art amenities on-board, such as a 60,000 watt sound system, 22 flat screen televisions and eco-friendly technologies.
