Slowgirl will run for six weeks only through Sunday, July 15. All tickets are $20.

Slowgirl is the story of Becky (Sarah Steele), a teenage girl who flees to her reclusive uncle Sterling's (Željkko Ivanek) retreat in the Costa Rican jungle to escape the aftermath of a horrific accident. The week they spend together forces them both to confront who they are as well as what it is they are running from. Sets are by Rachel Hauck, costumes by Emily Rebholz, lighting by Japhy Weideman and sound by Leah Gelpe.

Željko Ivanek received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for his performance in the LCT production of Two Shakespearean Actors. His other stage credits include The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations), Pillowman, Loot, Brighton Beach Memoirs (Tony Award nomination) and Cloud Nine (Obie Award). His many film and television credits include Damages (Emmy Award), The Event, True Blood, Big Love, Heroes, John Adams, Numb3rs, In Bruges, 24, Homicide: Life on the Streets and Oz. Sarah Steele was featured in the LCT3 production All-American. Her other stage credits include Russian Transport, Speech and Debate, and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. She has appeared in the films Spanglish, The Good Student and Margaret and on television in Law & Order, Gossip Girl, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Good Wife.
