Jersey Boys' Jarrod Spector, Tony Award nominee Catherine Cox, Priscilla Queen of the Desert's J. Elaine Marcos, The Game of Love's Jillian Louis and Kiss Me, Kate's Kevin B. McGlynn join the cast of FLAMBÉ DREAMS, a new musical comedy with book and lyrics by Matthew Hardy and music by Randy Klein. FLAMBE DREAMS recently held its launch party, and in attendance were Catherine Cox, J. Elaine Marcos and more. Check out photos from the event below!

FLAMBÉ DREAMS will be presented at the 45th Street Theatre as part of the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Joseph Christiansen wants to be a great Maitre d' like his father who was killed in a freak flaming Bananas Foster accident. Against the wishes and warnings of his pill-pushing psychiatrist mother, young Joe leaves the safety of his small hometown and journeys to New York City to make it big in the glamorous world of food and beverage service. Will Joe succeed, or will he end up flambéd like his father? Find out in this quirky tale of drugs, dreams and flaming desserts!

The cast of FLAMBÉ DREAMS features Jarrod Spector (Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys), Tony Award nominee Catherine Cox (Oh, Coward!, Baby), J. Elaine Marcos (Priscilla…, A Chorus Line, The Wedding Singer), Jillian Louis (The Game of Love and I'm Getting My Act Together… at The York) and Kevin B. McGlynn (national tours of Kiss Me, Kate and Forbidden Broadway).

FLAMBÉ DREAMS will be directed by West Hyler, the associate director of Broadway's Jersey Boys and assistant director of Broadway's How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Larry Pressgrove (Broadway's [title of show]) is the musical director. Liz Ulmer/Ulmer Theatricals (Date of a Lifetime, I Got Fired: The Revenge Musical) is the general manager.

Melpomene Katakalos (La Jolla Playhouse, California Shakespeare Theatre) is the scenic and props designer. Drama Desk nominee Christian DeAngelis (Love Goes To Press at The Mint) is the lighting designer. Andrew Keister (Broadway's Godspell, Company) is the sound designer. Emily Deangelis (Rated P for Parenthood, Prospect Theater Company's Myths and Hymns) is the costume designer. Michael Clark (Broadway's Jersey Boys, Ring of Fire) is the projection designer.

Sarah Tschirpke (Broadway's The Little Mermaid, Phantom of the Opera) is the production stage manager. Michael Demyan (Rent and Angels in America technical crew) is the technical director and production manager. Brian Gillespie (Psychotic at Primary Stages) is the assistant director. Lisa Sucharski is the assistant stage manager.

Performances will be held on Monday, July 9 at 8pm, Thursday, July 12 at 8pm, Saturday, July 14 at 4:30pm and 8pm, and Tuesday, July 17 at 4:30pm and 8pm.

The 45th Street Theatre is located at 354 West 45th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
