Abingdon Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Jan Buttram's LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE, a new play about a slave auctioneer and the one man who can save his life, with performances beginning Friday, February 3. Directed by Kate Bushmann the Off-Broadway production co-stars Peter Brouwer and Leopold Lowe.

When slave auctioneer Malcolm Jeters (Brouwer) falls from his mule in Mississippi's Natchez Trace, he is left stranded, injured and starving. Tom (Lowe), a runaway slave, discovers him, offering a sliver of hope in the vast swampland. The meeting triggers a desperate negotiation for Malcolm's rescue. Who will pay the highest price?
