The First National Tour of American Idiot launched last week in Toronto, with a lot of proud Canadian fanfare as our city celebrated the four Canadians in the show. Last night the entire cast took to the stage at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square as part of CityTV's New Year's Eve celebration to ring in 2012 with a medley of Green Day hits from the show.
BWW is thrilled to bring its readers these exclusive photos of the cast backstage at City Hall preparing for their performance, as well as onstage rocking the city of Toronto.
American Idiot plays at the Toronto Centre for the Arts until January 15th when it departs to tour the United States. Happy New Year from the Idiots!
