Photo Coverage: Opening Night of MEMPHIS in Toronto

Memphis shaked, rattled and rolled its way into The Toronto Centre for the Arts Wednesday night, and boasted a star studded opening night audience to celebrate! Hometown hero Sergio Trujillo was on hand, as well as many of the show's NYC producers, Toronto DJs from various radio stations and the Tony Award (from when the show won Best Musical in 2010).
The touring production stars original Broadway cast members Bryan Fenkart and Felicia Boswell as the inter-racial lovers who bond over their love of the rock and roll music playing in the then underground club scene in Memphis, Tennessee. Both shine in their respective roles, bringing heart, warmth, passion and incredible vocals to their characters. The supporting cast is uniformly strong and the whole production comes together in a tight, clean and energetic burst of joy that the audience clearly loved.
