In cooperation with the Broadway Green Alliance (BGA), LG Electronics donated new ultra energy efficient laundry pairs - among the most energy efficient on the market - to all 45 Broadway theaters. Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark cast member Patrick Page who plays super villain, Green Goblin, accepted the donated laundry pair on behalf of the Foxwoods Theater. Check out a photo of Page in action below!

Page exposed the true meaning behind his "Green" Goblin identity when he accepted LG Electronics' donation of an ultra energy efficient laundry pair - among the most energy efficient on the market - on behalf of the Foxwoods Theater on Wednesday, November 2. Replacing traditional top-load washers with LG's new energy-efficient models will save theaters an estimated 146,000 Kilowatt hours of electricity and 1.5 million gallons of water annually, for a total savings of $23,000 a year - enough to light all of the marquees on Broadway for three months!

Patrick Page is one of Broadway's outstanding actors, having starred in some of the Great White Way's most popular plays and musicals including originating the role of The Grinch in Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Page also played the role of Scar in The Lion King, Decius Brutus in Julius Caesar (opposite Denzel Washington), Lumiere in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol, and multiple roles in The Kentucky Cycle. His performance as King Henry VIII in the Broadway revival of A Man for All Seasons in 2008 was nominated for the Outer Critics Award and chosen by The Wall Street Journal as one of the outstanding theatre performances of that year.

The theater community generates thousands of pounds of laundry per week, resulting in a huge expenditure of water and energy. Replacing traditional top-load washers with LG's new energy-efficient models will save theaters an estimated 146,000 Kilowatt hours of electricity and 1.5 million gallons of water annually, for a total savings of $23,000 a year - enough to light all of the marquees on Broadway for three months!
