B.T. Ryback: Songs I Wrote, a concert of work by Ovation Award-nominated composer and actor Brett Ryback, played to a packed house at BARRE, vt last Monday, July 25th.

Performers Jason Forbach, Daniel Tatar, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Derek Klena, Kelsey Jessup, Lana McKissack, and Erika Whalen sang from Ryback's songbook, including songs from his new musical The Tavern Keeper's Daughter, as well as work from Darling, and Liberty Inn: The Musical, which was nominated for two LA Ovation Awards (Best Music/Lyrics, and Best Book).

Ryback also premiered a song from his latest project Joe Schmoe Saves the World.

B.T. (Brett) Ryback is also known for his work as an actor in Los Angeles, most recently in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, and The History Boys for Center Theatre Group; the world premiere of Dr. Cerberus for South Coast Rep; Little Shop of Horrors and the Ovation Award-nominated 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. He won the Tennessee Williams One-Act Competition, and the Henrico County Theatre, Virginia, One-Act Competition, and was a Finalist for the Richard Rodgers Award.
