Broadway Bares XXI: Masterpiece, the modern-day burlesque spectacular featuring 192 Broadway dancers, made history Sunday by raising a record-breaking $1,103,072 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Last year's 20th Anniversary edition of Broadway Bares had set the previous record at $1,015,985. The first Broadway Bares, in 1992, featured seven dancers stripping on a bar and raised just over $8,000. To date, the 21 editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $8.6 million for Broadway Cares. Check out more photos from the star-studded event here.

A priceless collection of Tony winners and nominees made this year's BROADWAY BARES XXI: MASTERPIECE a truly "starry night." The show was produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, executive produced by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde) and directed by Josh Rhodes. The Town Hall, New York's landmark concert venue, concluded the 11th season of the acclaimed Broadway By The Year Series with The Broadway Musicals of 1997 on June 20th. The highlight of the evening included reunion performances from the original Jekyll & Hyde stars including Robert Cuccioli (Tony Nominee), Linda Eder (Drama Desk Nominee) and Christiane Noll. Ghotslight Records will release the New Broadway Cast Recording of the critically acclaimed and Tony-winning new Broadway production of ANYTHING GOES this summer. Performances from Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Reno Sweeney) and Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey (Moonface Martin) and the entire Broadway cast will be preserved singing some of Cole Porters's most memorable musical theatre standards, including "You're the Top," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," "It's De-Lovely," "I Get A Kick Out of You," and "Anything Goes." In Seattle, Washington, 5th Avenue Theatre is preparing for the premiere of Disney's Aladdin, directed by Mormon's Casey Nicholaw. The production of Aladdin features Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed as Aladdin and Jasmine, James Monroe Iglehart as the Genie, and Seattle mainstay Seán G. Griffin as the Sultan. The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, presented the inaugural Off Broadway Alliance Awards Reception on June 21 at Sardi's. Honorees were on hand to receive their awards and Romulus Linney, Ellen Stewart and Lanford Wilson were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame. Guys and Dolls, the 'musical fable of Broadway', kicks off Barrington Stage Company's 2011 Mainstage Season for a five-week run through July 16. The production stars Michael Thomas Holmes (Oklahoma!/How The Grinch Stole Christmas) as Nathan Detroit, Morgan James (Wonderland/The Addams Family) as Sarah Brown, Leslie Kritzer (Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde) as Adelaide, and Matthew Risch (Pal Joey, Legally Blonde) as Sky Masterson. On June 22, Billy Elliot welcomed their 1,500,000th audience member at matinee performance. As patrons entered the theatre, tickets were scanned and the lucky, 1.5Mth audience member was revealed during the curtain call. Tony-winner Gregory Jbara, who plays Dad in the show, welcomed Philadelphia native Caty Dougherty to the stage to pose for photos with the cast. Click here for more photos from the celebration.

Lee Mead joined the West End cast of the Olivier award-wining Legally Blonde The Musical this week to play Emmett Forrest. He joins Susan McFadden as Elle Woods at at the Savoy Theatre, where the show has been playing to packed audiences since 2009. In addition to winning the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actress in a Musical (Sheridan Smith) and Best Performance is a Supporting Role in a Musical (Jill Halfpenny), Legally Blonde The Musical is now booking until 31 March 2012. Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular celebrated its fifth anniversary on Thursday, June 23 with a champagne toast on stage led by "The Phantom" himself, Anthony Crivello. The Las Vegas production of the worldwide favorite is enjoying enduring success that few other Las Vegas productions have achieved and proves that "Broadway" can and does flourish in Vegas. HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rose Hemingway and John Larroquette made an appearance at Lord & Taylor on Fifth Avenue to unveil the musical-themed window displays to the public yesterday, June 23. In honor of the new display, the first 75 customers to spend $300 or more in cosmetics yesterday received a voucher for a pair of tickets to the show. For more photos from the event, click here.
