The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS has announced a partnership with The Great Atlantic Pacific & Tea Company (A&P) to raise money for New York-area Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Beginning July 4, 2011, customers at all A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum's, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars stores will be asked to make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at the register. The partnership kicked off with a MEMPHIS BBQ celebration open to the public at Broadway's Shubert Alley late last week. Click here for more images from the event.

The Theatre World Awards presentation were held at Jujamcyn's August Wilson Theatre, 245 West 52nd Street (home of Jersey Boys), in an invitation-only ceremony, on, June 7, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. Featuring a performance by Tony winner John Lloyd Young, Peter Filichia hosted, Barry Keating directed, Mary K. The 2010-11 Theatre World Award winners were: Ellen Barkin, The Normal Heart; Desmin Borges, The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity; Halley Feiffer, The House of Blue Leaves; Grace Gummer, Arcadia; Rose Hemingway, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; John Larroquette, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Tony Sheldon, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and many more. Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre presented its 2011 Annual Benefit Gala, a concert performance on Broadway of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's CAMELOT on June 6 at The Shubert Theatre. Charlotte Moore, who directed last year's acclaimed concert staging of BRIGADOON on Broadway and helms the Irish Repertory's current production of Dion Boucicault's THE SHAUGHRAUN, adapted and directed. Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables) has returned to Café Carlyle at The Carlyle as she returns for her second exclusive three-week cabaret-style show entitled "An Evening with Lea Salonga," which runs until June 25. THE LEAGUE OF BROADWAY SUPER FRIENDS - a five-part harmony-singing group featuring Broadway's brightest stars and biggest talents, held their inaugural concert on Tuesday, June 7. At the event, Kelli O'Hara, Lindsay Mendez, Gavin Creel, Greg Naughton and Sherie Rene Scott performed at Le Poisson Rouge to raise funds in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. The Public Theater began previews yesterday, June 6 for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The two shows will run in repertory with the same company of actors through Saturday, July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Check out more photos from All's Well That Ends Well here!

MEASURE FOR MEASURE officially opens on Thursday, June 30. ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL begins performances on Saturday, June 11 and officially opens on Saturday, June 25. Tickets to both shows are free and distributed the day of the performance. Directed by five time Tony Award® nominee David Leveaux, THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY began previews Friday, May 13th and officially opened June 6th. Starring Carey Mulligan, the show will play a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3rd Off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop while Atlantic's main stage Linda Gross Theater undergoes renovation. LCT3's production of 4000 Miles, a new play by Amy Herzog, directed by Daniel Aukin, opens on Monday June 20 at 6:45 pm at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project (229 West 42 Street). LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences. 4000 Miles is the final of three productions during its 2010-2011 season.
