On March 28, Broadway favorites teamed up to salute Terrence McNally at the Longacre Theatre. A benefit for The Acting Company, Angela Lansbury gathered Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Tyne Daly, Edie Falco, Roger Rees and Raul Esparza who sang, shared memories and recreated scenes from dozens of McNally hits. Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been raising the roof at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in the newest revival of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. The show features direction and choreography by Tony winner Rob Ashford, and just opened Sunday, March 27. Click here for even more production shots that were released this week!

Grandma Addams, the feisty potient-brewing matriarch of the Addams clan (played by comic actress Jackie Hoffman), turned 116 on Wednesday, March 30 and to celebrate, the producers of THE ADDAMS FAMILY treated the star to a Sweet (One) Sixteen cake and free tickets to the matinee for 116 real grandmothers age 60 or older who were born in March. Now in previews, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will open on Broadway Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Neil Simon Theatre. This new musical, created by a team of Tony winners, features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, choreography by Jerry Mitchell and is directed by Jack O'Brien. In the first elimination of the season, radio personality Mike Catherwood and partner Lacey Schwimmer were the unlucky ones to be sent home after their jive failed to impress the judges and the rest of the country. Check out more photos from this week's episode here!

The Tony Award-winning production of the celebrated musical comedy LA CAGE AUX FOLLES now stars four-time Tony Award-winner and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES author Harvey Fierstein as Albin and two-time Tony Award-nominee Christopher Sieber as Georges. Click here to see more of the duo on stage!


Kathleen Turner, Evan Jonigkeit

Two-time Golden Globe winner, Academy Award & Tony Award nominee Kathleen Turner returns to Broadway this spring as "Sister Jamison Connelly" in HIGH, a new play written by Matthew Lombardo and directed by Rob Ruggiero. Previews began on Broadway on March 25 and the official opening is April 19, 2011. Click here for more production photos!

The top 11 American Idol finalists performed for a second time this week as a result of last week's Casey Abrams rescue. This time belting out the classic songs of Elton John, Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo received the lowest number of votes and were sent home in the double elimination. The next show in the Paper Mill line-up is CURTAINS, featuring the talents of daytime television stars Robert Newman (Frank Cioffi) and Kim Zimmer (Carmen Bernstein). CURTAINS will run at the Millburn theater from April 27 through May 22, 2011. For more photos of the production, click here.

Performances have begun for THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT by Stephen Adly Guirgis, starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, this strictly limited 15-week engagement will open on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Click here for more production shots!

Robin Williams took his first official Broadway bow at the opening of BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO last night at the Richard Rogers Theatre. The new play by Rajv Joseph features direction by Moises Kaufman. Joining Williams in the cast are Glenn Davis, Brad Fleischer, Hrach Titizian, Sheila Vand, Necar Zadegan and Arian Moayed.
