Puppet Heap Moving Picture Company, Co., the film division of the internationally renowned puppet design company, Puppet Heap, has announced the release of their latest short film, "I Knew An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly." The film will be launched as an eight-part mini-epic, starting on Sunday, February 13th and will be available on www.puppetheap.com.

"I Knew An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" is a story of gluttony, obsession and veterinary gastronomy, wherein a monstrous series of events inevitably blankets a disquieted seaside village in a strange peace.

Directed by Paul Andrejco, the film features puppets created by Puppet Heap Workshop and music composed by Jeremiah Lockwood.

"This film is definitely something that was borne of the entire team at Puppet Heap. It was really written, or wrought, by actually playing with puppets in our hands," said Paul Andrejco, Founder and CEO of Puppet Heap. "The result is something that moves way beyond my vision and the content of the source material. All of our artists, designers, performers and musicians came together to make something truly special."

Founded by artist and designer Paul Andrejco, Puppet Heap is an innovative design studio, based in Hoboken, New Jersey. The company has a rich history of bringing dynamic characters to life for some of the biggest names in film, television and theatre.

Puppet Heap's original content, created by its film division "Puppet Heap Moving Picture Company includes the short films, Omar's Mother; Mother Hubbard and I Knew An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.
