Photo Coverage: Taylor Dayne with Frenchie Davis & Jake Simpson at Summer Concert Series

On Wednesday, Aug 18, 2010, 3x Grammy nominee Taylor Dayne with special guest American Idol semi-finalist Frenchie Davis and Star Search Grand Champion Jake Simpson performed as part of the annual Summer Concert Series at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA.
One of the most recognizable and beloved personalities in pop music for more than 20 years, Taylor Dayne (Aida) performed many of her hits including "Tell It To My Heart," "Love Will Lead You Back," "I'll Be Your Shelter" and more! The enthusiastic and packed audience also enjoyed Broadway selections performed by Broadway star and Grammy nominee Frenchie Davis who starred in RENT on Broadway and the West Coast production of Dreamgirls. Davis, performed "One Night Only" from Dreamgirls and ended her set with the Beyonce's "Halo." Star Search Grand Champion Jake Simpson opened the evening with favorites which included Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."
The evening also raised awareness and funds for non-profit Christopher Street West and Los Angeles Pride organizations. The Americana at Brand donated a portion of the complexes proceeds on this evening to benefit Christopher Street West. CSW president Rodney Scott was on hand, as well as, The Millionaire Matchmaker's Patti Stanger and American's Got Talent's Howie Mandel.
Produced by Chris Isaacson of L.A.'s Upright Cabaret, this was the third of four concerts scheduled to perform live at The Americana at Brand in August 2010. Free and open to the public, Summer Concert Series also includes Grammy winner Paula Cole with Tyler Hilton and Ty Taylor fronted soul rock band Vintage Trouble (Aug 25).
