Favorites from both stage and screen came together for an all-star musical salute to Richard Rodgers, Mary Rodgers, and Adam Guettel to benefit The Acting Company last night, June 21 at the Kaye Playhouse.

One Enchanted Evening starred Lauren Ambrose, Kristin Chenoweth, Victoria Clark, Linda Lavin, Aaron Lazar, Norm Lewis, James Naughton, Kellie O' Hara, Mary Beth Peil and Billy Stritch headlining the evening along with cast members from South Pacific.

Written by, John Doyle the concept for the evening was conceived by Musical Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and Chris Gattelli who also directed.

Founded in 1972 by John Houseman and Margot Harley, The Acting Company has been honored with a TONY for Excellence in Theater, playing New York and touring the country for the past 38 seasons. Its recent co-production of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter at New York Theater Workshop was selected by TIME Magazine as the 4th Best Play of 2009.

Founding members Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone as well as Rainn Wilson, Jesse L. Martin, Harriet Harris, Frances Conroy, Keith David, David Ogden Stiers, Jeffrey Wright and 300 others all began their careers on tour with The Acting Company.
