Landmark on Main Street's 2009-10 Season concluded with back-to-back Broadway Concert events on Monday, June 14th and Saturday, June 19th. On Monday, June 14th, A Little Night Music's Hunter Ryan Herdlicka gave a Port Washington audience a special sneak-peak of his "I Happen to Like New York" show scheduled to debut in Feinstein's on June 27th. Landmark thanks Rich Aronstein of rj productions for arranging this out-of-town preview.

On Saturday, June 19th, Herman's glorious music was interpreted by Tony Award Winner Debbie Gravitte, the brilliantly funny Jason Graae and Nat Chandler. Emmy Award winner Don Pippin was the evening's Musical Director. The concert featured music from Herman's celebrated shows such as "La Cage Aux Folles," "Hello, Dolly!," "Mack & Mabel."

Landmark's 2009-10 Season coincided with the historic building's 100th anniversary. The first school year of use by the Main Street School was 1909-1910. The school closed in 1985 and Landmark on Main Stret was reborn into a community center by an impassioned group of local residents who had a vision and a dream. Landmark - a not-for-profit community center is proud to continue its mission to strengthen the spirit of community.

The program on Saturday, June 19th opened with a presentation by the Town of North Hempstead Town Clerk, Leslie Gross, presenting Landmark on Main Street with a Certificate of Recognition in honor if the building's Centennial Celebration.
