Simon Russell Beale and Grassroots Shakespeare London performed at London's Guildhall to celebrate Shakespeare 400. Scroll down for a photo of Beale and company!

Guildhall, home of one of the world's top 5 copies of the original First Folio worth £6 million GBP, saw the team of actors perform sonnets, poems, monologues and scenes from the work of Shakespeare and his contemporary Ben Jonson, which the actors had a private viewing of, following the event.

Artistic Director and Producer for Grassroots' Siobhán Daly said: "It is an enormous honour to perform with one of the world's leading Shakespearean actors in this historic venue, and to see the First Folio on the same day, is something we are still in amazement at. We have been delighted to mark Shakespeare 400 in such an exciting and memorable way."

Joining Simon Russell Beale in Guildhall's Great Hall were Emily Jane Kerr, Jim Conway, Kit Loyd, Oliver Towse, Chris Thomson, Boris Mitkov and Siobhán Daly.

Grassroots Shakespeare London are currently performing TWELFTH NIGHT at Leicester Square Theatre until Saturday 14th May 2016.
