Leviathan Lab, a newly established production studio in Manhattan, presents "Filipino Drama Club Sings! (FYI We Aren't All Filipino)": A benefit concert featuring Ali Ewoldt ("Les Miserables"), Christine Toy Johnson ("Flower Drum Song", "Music Man"), and Jaygee Macapugay ("Imelda", "Honor") on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Helen Mills Theatre (137-139 West 26th Street) at 8 p.m.

The concert, which highlights selections from contemporary musical theatre, also features a mix of veteran and up and coming Asian-American actors: Marie-France Arcilla ("Working"), Liz Casasola ("Dogeaters", "Imelda"), Grant Chang ("Making Tracks"), James Chen ("Ching Chong Chinaman"), Lydia Gaston ("King and I", "Jerome Robbins Broadway"), Loresa Lanceta ("Imelda"), Whitney Kam Lee ("Honor"), Brian Jose ("Miss Saigon"), Austin Ku ("Allegiance" reading at Playwrights Horizons), Marc Santa Maria ("The Karaoke Show"), and Ramon Vinluan, who is also directing the show.

Musical direction is by Gillian Berkowitz.

The Leviathan Lab, founded by Ariel Estrada, has been home to more than 60 Asian-American actors, writers, and directors since 2009. The lab's current projects include development cover theatre, television, film, and online presence.
