On March 22, 2010, The New School for Drama and Samuel French held a staged reading event honoring 2008 graduate Janine Nabers, who received the 2010 Samuel French/New School for Drama Award for Excellence in Play writing. Special guests Laila Robins Tippett, Laura Gourdine, Patrick Williams, Michael Chernus, and Stefanie Frane read excerpts of Nabers' play Annie Bosh is Missing. The reading took place at The New School's Wollman Hall, 65 West 11th Street.

This is the second collaboration between The New School for Drama and Sam French, which came about through the ongoing success of The New School's students and alumni in their one-act festival. Ms. Nabors won the 2009 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival for Juniper;
Juniper. Last year's Samuel French/New School for Drama Award winner was Bekah Brunstetter.

Introductory remarks were given by New School Drama Director Robert LuPone and New School Drama Playwright Chair Pippin Parker. Special guests included Kenny Lonergan.
