Snow could not keep the ladies (and a few gents) away from the recent New York City Go Red For Women Luncheon.

This well attended event kicked off with a Leadership Panel Discussion moderated by Dr. Mary Ann McLaughlin Board President of American Heart Assoc. NYC., Prof., Cardiology Mount Sinai Medical Center Pearls of wisdom flowed from

Carla Harris Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, Martine Reardon Executive VP of Marketing, Macy's Deborah C. Wright, Chairman & CEO of Carver Bancorp and Sylvia Nelson Paul, Customer Marketing Manager - Healthcare Consumer, Customer Strategies and Solutions at Merck Director Early birds walked away from this enlightening session with autographed copies of Carla Harris book "Expect To Win."

Attendees enjoyed a keynote speech by Go Red Ambassador Amy Shorin Silverstein, entertainment from Broadway's Roz Ryan of CHICAGO, greetings from actress Marcia Gay Harden and many more luncheon surprises.

A 2010 Macy's Go Red for Women $2,500. scholarship recipient, Janine has enrolled in Long Island University's Physician's assistant program. A career as a physician's assistnat is Janine's way of giving back to those who take care of her mom and all heart patients.
