BILLY ELLIOT, currently playing at the Imperial Theatre on Broadway, dedicated the February 24th performance to The Actors Fund, granting proceeds to the fund in support of their programs and services. Michael Dameski and Jake Schwencke took the stage for the benefit.

The Actors Fund was founded in 1882 by actors and others in the entertainment professions to help those in need or crisis. It is a nonprofit, national human services organization that helps close to 10,000 people every year from across the country. With offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, The Fund supports everyone who works in performing arts and entertainment - on stage or screen or behind the scenes - through a wide array of programs in social and health services, employment and training, emergency financial assistance, insurance and housing needs, and assisted living and nursing care residences. For information on The Actor's fund, visit www.actorsfund.org.
