UPDATE: According to new reports, Joan Rivers is now in stable condition. Her daughter said in a statement late today, Thursday, August 28: 'I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.'

According to Out.com, Joan Rivers is heading back to Broadway! Michael Musto writes that the funny lady will revive the 1994 play that she wrote and starred in- Sally Marr...and Her Escorts. The play will get a reading at Washington D.C.'s National Theatre this fall, with plans to move to Broadway after.

Joan Rivers sat down for an interview with CNN Newsroom's Fredricka Whitfield to discuss her new book Diary of a Mad Diva. However, Rivers never made it to the book as she walked out before the interview was over. She said that Whitfield was being too negative and mean.

Joan Rivers was seen dancing along with cast of the David Byrne/Fatboy Slim hit musical HERE LIES LOVE, directed by Alex Timbers at the Public Theatre. Joan opted not for the seated balcony but actually brought flats and joined the audience on the disco floor where the show takes place. She loved the show so much that she raved about it two days later on Fox 5's 'Good Day New York' as well as at her new book signing at Barnes & Noble on Union Square, telling fans, 'If you see one show this year, you must see HERE LIES LOVE. The milestone coincides with the 29th anniversary of when God's Love We Deliver's Founder, Ganga Stone, delivered a meal to Richard, a man living with AIDS, and the organization was born.

More than 900 generous volunteers joined God's Love We Deliver staff, celebrities, local politicians and Board members in their new temporary location in Brooklyn in preparing and delivering more than 3,200 Thanksgiving meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life altering illnesses in New York City, and nearby Hudson County, New Jersey. Of the more than 3,200 meals, nearly 900 were guest meals, so that each client could invite a friend or family member to spend the holiday with them. Our holiday meals were delivered in a cheerful, hand-decorated bag designed by local school children. Each household also received a holiday gift basket, containing crackers, oatmeal, nuts, raisins and other treats to help make the day special.

The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), the world's first child protection agency, held its annual fall benefit on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at The Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. This year, The NYSPCC's benefit was their Inaugural Wine Dinner. The 215 guests, dressed in festive attire, enjoyed an extraordinary menu designed by renowned chef, Jonathan Waxman, of Barbuto, and featured excellent wines from the Napa Valley winery, Tournesol.
