HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING said goodbye to Darren Criss yesterday, following a strictly limited three week engagement. Criss will return to his role as 'Blaine' on GLEE, and next to step into the shoes of J. Pierrepont Finch will be singer Nick Jonas. Jonas, who began his career on stage at age 8, returns to Broadway for the first time since the launch of the international sensation The Jonas Brothers starting this Tuesday, January 24, through July 1. Biggley, beginning today for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Mr. Bridges will co-star with GLEE star Darren Criss through January 22 and then Nick Jonas (January 24, 2012 - July 1, 2012). Daniel Radcliffe and the stars of Smash were on hand last night, November 6, at the Eighth Annual New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) gala to honor Neil Meron and Craig Zadan for their work in bringing musical theatre to a worldwide, pop-culture audience. Meron and Zadan are represented on Broadway with How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and are currently producing the new NBC television drama Smash about the behind-the-scenes creation of a Broadway musical. Smash premieres on NBC on February 6th.

Yesterday evening, June 23, Inside Broadway hosted their annual Broadway Beacon Awards. Tony Award-winner Karen Ziemba was the special guest performer for the evening, which honored Tony-winner John Larroquette of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, stage, film, & TV star Brooke Shields, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, and managing partner & co-founder of Stonehenge Partners, Ofer Yardeni. FOX5 reporter Julie Chang served as the evening's emcee.
