Awards season is in full swing and to celebrate all of the 2011-2012 nominees, we've dug deep into our archives to bring you vintage photos of all of the talent during special moments in their careers. Check out the 2011-2012 Tony-nominated men below!

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) will present The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, opening the A.R.T.'s 2011-2 season tonight, August 17 at the Loeb Drama Center. The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin, is adapted by Suzan-Lori Parks and Diedre Murray, and directed by A.R.T. Today marks the 108th birthday of the late, legendary artist Al Hirschfeld. This month, to mark the occasion, The Al Hirschfeld Foundation celebrates the life and legacy of the artist with two upcoming events at Doyle New York: The new official website of Al Hirschfeld, www.AlHirschfeldFoundation.org launched yesterday, June 20th in commemoration of the artist's 108th birthday. The site features theater, film, television, music, and dance drawings, as seen through the eyes and drawn by the hand of Al Hirschfeld. The site gives fans access to over 10,000 works searchable by personality, production, date, publisher, and genre. Never before has a Hirschfeld exhibition, published collection or online exhibition of this size been available online. New works will be added to the nearly 3,000 works already available online for visitors to view. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebratory event and brings you photo coverage below.

On November 9th, 2006, the opening night of Broadway's Les Miserables, BroadwayWorld introduced the artwork of Christine Jimenez. Recently, the talented artist created more caricatures and portraits of Les Miz stars in honor of the show's 25th Anniversary, and is one again pleased to share them with BWW readers.

13P (Thirteen Playwrights, Inc), the OBIE Award-winning theater company made up of 13 playwrights, will present Lucy Thurber's (P#8) 'MONSTROSITY,' directed by Lear deBessonet. 'MONSTROSITY' will be performed at The Connelly Theatre, 220 East 4th Street (between Avenues A and B), with performances running from July 9 through 19, 2009 for a total of twelve performances.

The highly anticipated Broadway revival of David Mamet's masterpiece American Buffalo, starring an extraordinary multi-cultural cast - John Leguizamo, Cedric The Entertainer, and Haley Joel Osment began performances onFriday, October 31 at Broadway's Belasco Theatre, 111 West 44, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. American Buffalo is directed by Robert Falls. The dynamic cast took a break from performances to meet the press.
