The cast of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story presented musical excerpts of the production, and the producers of the historic Bucks County Playhouse and Philadelphia's thriving Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts shared insight into their unique collaboration on the musical, which will come to both venues this spring and summer. Bucks County Playhouse's second production of the summer season, the high-energy Rock & Roll musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story,' is directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster with choreography by Lorin Latarro. This show been seen by over 22 million people worldwide, and is hailed as the most successful rock musical of all time. 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' opened at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. Main Street, New Hope, PA) on June 25 and will run through July 16. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Roundabout Theatre Company announced the full cast this July for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The show is set to open on November 13, 2012 and will star Stephanie J. Block as Edwin Drood. Meet the whole cast in the video and bios below!

Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 203rd season with an all-new production of Broadway's BUDDY: THE Buddy Holly STORY. Directed and choreographed by Casey Hushion, the show began previews on May 15th and opens on May 23rd, running through July 15th on the WST Mainstage. Christopher Sutton (Buddy), says this is the first time in the history of the Walnut Street Theatre that the same actor has played the same role twice.
