The New Group will present Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's Downtown Race Riot. Directed by Scott Elliott, this world premiere production begins previews November 14 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Sunday, December 3. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through December 23 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus LinneyCourtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

In the days following the Trojan War, how do the women find the will to survive as they await their fate at the hands of the conquering Greeks? A story of women's strength, hope, and community as their lives are uprooted. This modern translation of an ancient play by Irish poet Brendan Kennelly, provides a lens through which to view the issues facing refugee women in today's world. The New Colony concludes its 2017 Season with the world premiere of Michael Allen Harris' prison drama PUNK, co-directed by Diana Raiselis and Katrina Dion, playing October 4 November 5, 2017 at The New Colony's resident home, The Den Theatre's Upstairs Main Stage, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 21, 2017 at www.thenewcolony.org.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Sam Gold, this wildly inventive new American play picks up fifteen years after Henrik Ibsen's most cherished work concludes. They're changing the cast at Thriller Live with eight new dancers joining the 15th Longest Running Musical in West End history - all making their West End stage debuts. The youngsters joining the cast this week are on 12-month contracts that will see them in the show when it starts its 10th anniversary West End celebrations at the Lyric Theatre in January 2018. Ahead of its first anniversary at the Prince Edward Theatre, Disney's Aladdin has released behind-the-scenes photography of the new company in rehearsals. Having opened to critical acclaim in London's West End in June 2016, the hit musical based on the classic Academy Award®-winning animated film will celebrate its first birthday in the West End on 15 June 2017.

On November 11, 2016 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, continued its 34th season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with Concert for Courage, a program that will commemorate Veterans Day by honoring the brave men and women of the nation's armed forces. The orchestra was joined by The Soldiers' Chorus of The U.S. Army Field Band in performances of patriotic songs and classic Americana for a jubilant celebration of those who are serving and have served the United States of America.

WICKED, the award-winning West End musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is pleased to release the first production pictures of Anita Dobson as Madame Morrible and the new principal cast who join the production from Monday 5 September 2016.
