Award-winning comedian Alfie Packham will debut at the Edinburgh Fringe with MY GIFT TO YOU, a stand-up show exploring grief, love, and the everyday reality of terminal illness with humor and observational stories.

This summer will see the inaugural StoryFest held at the National Youth Theatre’s RIBA award-winning headquarters in North London. A month-long festival that demonstrates the NYT’s commitment to championing new work from emerging talent, many of whom are alumni of the NYT themselves. 

With his sophomore album Radiosoul dawning on the horizon, 21-year-old UK artist Alfie Templeman has released his new single “Beckham”. The song is a collaboration with sought-after producer Dan Carey (Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C.). Netflix has released the date announcement and first look for season four of Emily In Paris, featuring Tony nominee Ashley Park. Part 1 of the new season will premiere on August 15, 2024, followed by Part 2 on September 12, 2024. In the date announcement video, the cast is asked to describe the new season in three words. “Chaotic,” “heartbreaking,” “adventurous,” “fashionable,” and “revenge' are among the answers given by the actors.

Premiering under Stephen Unwin’s taut direction, Sara Ryan’s Laughing Boy is a bittersweet docu-play about brutal neglect and apathy. While it’s a damning inquiry into the shortcomings of public health, is it a good play or is it a great production of a rather mediocre one? In our opinion, it's the second.

DORIAN: The Musical will premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough (The Large) for a five-week run, from 4th July to 10th August 2024.

In the past few years, Patti LuPone has resigned from Actor’s Equity Association and suspended her legendary Broadway career, but as she proved with her Celebrity Series of Boston performance at Symphony Hall on April 2, the three-time Tony Award winner can still command a concert stage.

After two previous appearances with the Celebrity Series of Boston in 2003 and 2011, the long overdue return of Patti LuPone to the stage at Symphony Hall on Tuesday night was an epic performance worth the wait. Enthusiastic entrance applause greeted Joseph Thalken (music direction and arrangements) and Brad Phillips (strings), but rose to Richter scale magnitude when Patti strode out.

Alfie Boe is joining the starry cast of With All Our Hearts, an exciting West End Gala at the Adelphi Theatre that will celebrate over 75 years of the NHS.
