THE PEARL THEATRE COMPANY is thrilled to present Tennessee Williams' Vieux Carré - an autobiographical meditation on sexuality, decay, and clinging to hope in an uncertain world. This often overlooked play, not seen in New York for over 25 years, comes to vivid life at The Pearl with award-winning director Austin Pendleton at the helm of an extraordinary cast of actors, including George Morfogen (Fortune's Fool, CSC's Uncle Vanya, HBO's 'Oz'), Pamela Payton-Wright (The Cherry Orchard, A Streetcar Named Desire, 'One Life to Live'), and Obie Award-winning Pearl Resident Actor Sean McNall (Orson's Shadow, Hamlet).

Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, The T. Schreiber Studio Company, headed by Artistic Director Terry Schreiber, will present Lanford Wilson's moving and often humorous play, Fifth of July, from May 14th through June 21st, Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The play will be open to the press beginning on Friday May 22nd. The play will be presented in The Gloria Maddox Theatre at T. Schreiber Studio at 151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor.

The Canadian Stage Company wraps its 2008.2009 season with Doubt, a parable, the award-winning play that's taken North America by storm. The production stars Canadian theatre icons Seana McKenna (Canadian Stage's The Clean House, Wit) and David Storch (Canadian Stage's Frost/Nixon and director of Palace of the End), and is helmed by renowned director Marti Maraden (Canadian Stage's Trying). The 2008-2009 Reprise Theatre Company season continues with the classic international hit 'Man of La Mancha,' starring Brent Spiner as Cervantes/Quixote. Julia Migenes, the renowned opera and theatre performer, will play Aldonza/Dulcinea; Valerie Perri will play the role of Aldonza/Dulcinea at matinee performances; and Tony nominee Lee Wilkof will play Sancho Panza.
