Detective Conan: The Escape : Universal Studios Japan's one of popular events, 'Universal Cool Japan 2024.' It combines a live show linked to the Detective Conan movie and a real escape game. 'Universal Cool Japan' is an immersive experience event featuring popular entertainment brands from Japan, boasting worldwide popularity. This year's 'Detective Conan: The Escape' sees the return of the free-roaming style within the facility. Participants take on the intense challenge of solving mysteries alongside popular characters like Heiji Hattori and Kid the Phantom Thief. ('DETECTIVE CONAN: THE ESCAPE' will be held until June 30th.)

Sacramento is brimming with new works in theatre this month, and one play that I am particularly looking forward to is by former Sacramento-based playwright James Van Eaton. The premiere of his Oscar Wilde-inspired An Honest Apology will be performed at FreeFall Stage beginning with their annual Valentine’s Day Dessert on February 14th. Matisyahu has released his new EP, Hold The Fire. The 5-song collection – already hailed “a must listen!” – includes the lead single “Fireproof” as well as the previously released tracks “Fool’s Gold” and “End Of The World.” Earlier this week, Matisyahu kicked off his headlining Hold The Fire Tour in support of the new EP.

Linwood Regensburg shares, “Make a Joke,” another tease of the forthcoming album Quilt Floor from Mama Zu. The LP represents the collaborative effort between Linwood and Jessi Zazu, the late frontwoman of Those Darlins, who tragically passed away from cancer. The album serves as a poignant culmination of their musical journey together.
